The owner of this London home wanted permanent replacement to the step ladder (shown below) that allowed access to his loft study area, so Tamir Addadi Architecture solved the problem with this elegant solution consisting of a self-supporting stairway and a free standing pole handrail in the center. The new staircase allow for easy access to the loft as well as visually connects the two spaces together in a minimal form.
